Welcome to Country Companions Veterinary Services, LLC

Our mission is to provide the highest quality veterinary medical care for your pets in a friendly, relaxed, country setting. We provide care for dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, sheep, cows, llamas, and alpacas.

We look forward to providing care for the life of your pet.  Feel free to refer friends and family to our practice.

We are located at 9 Amity Rd ( Rt 63) in Bethany, just over the Woodbridge town line next to the Bethany Florist.  For directions, click here.

HOURS:  Mon         8:30-5pm                 

                   Tues        8:30-6pm   

                   Wed         8:30-5pm       

                   Thurs      8:30-6pm  

                   Fri           8:30-3pm                 

                   Sat          8:30-12:30pm

We work by appointment only.  This allows for us to give you the time you and your pet deserve.  If you need to have your pet seen, please call to schedule an appointment.

EMERGENCIES

If you have an emergency with your pet, please call the office immediately.  If it is during office hours, we will assist you immediately.  If the emergency is after hours, call the office and leave a message and the doctor on call will contact you. 

We are affiliated with New Haven Central Hospital.  If the doctor feels that your pet needs immediate care, you may be referred to New Haven Central Hospital.  They are a 24 hour facility with a caring and knowledgable staff.

Need some assistance with training your dog or cat?  Check out www.clickertraining.com.  Clicker training is positive training that can work on all ages of dogs (and even cats). 

Does your dog know everything?  How about teaching him some tricks?  It can be done with clicker training.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Dr. Johnson.
