Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  We provide all basic wellness screening through our office.

Surgical Services:  Many of our surgeries are done by Drs. McClure Brinton and Johnson at the New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine.  Some of the more minor procedures are done in the office.  We can discuss the options with you when scheduling your pet's procedure.

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Radiology Services:  Our radiology, ultrasound and EKG services are provided by board certified specialists through the New Haven Central Hospital.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery. 

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.  We also refer you to local trainers for classes.

Microchipping:  We offer the Home Again Microchip.

Emergency Care:  Please call our main telephone number after hours to have one of our doctors paged for advice.  Our small animal emergencies requiring immediate care are referred to the New Haven Central Hospital, 843 State St., New Haven.  The phone number for Central is 203-865-0878.  Dr. McClure Brinton covers large animal emergencies for her patients.
